Children's High Rope Garden Flachau

At our friends from Almlust, just 700 meters from Resl, there is a high ropes course and a children's high ropes garden. From way up high, you might even be able to spot our hotel?

Rafting, Canyoning and Riverbug

Almlust in Flachau is also your address for excursions into white water. When rafting, canyoning, or river bugging, you will definitely leave your comfort zone and get to know yourself – and your children – from a whole new side!

Summer toboggan run Lucky Flitzer

Just a 15-minute walk from Resl, the Lucky Flitzer is waiting for you. With your Flachau Card, you get about a 5% discount! The associated amusement park with bounce houses and trampolines is even free of charge.

Flori's adventure path

At 250 meters from Resl, you board the Starjet, which takes you to 1,354 m. Here begins the circular path, just over 2 km long. There are play and puzzle stations and for the children who figure out the secret code word from Flori, there is a small surprise!

Mini Golf

An 18-hole mini-golf course, a playground, a kiosk, and a large tree that provides shade can be found just 300 meters from Resl. With your Flachau Card, it will be about 25% cheaper for you.

Swimming Lake and High Rope Garden Flachauwinkl

Only 3 km from Resl to the natural swimming lake with playground in Flachauwinkl, which is paradise-like in front of meadows, forests, and mountains.

At the swimming lake, there is also the high ropes course from our friends at the Alpin Center Salzburger Sportwelt. The platforms are up to twelve meters high. But the biggest adrenaline rush is provided by the 150 m long zip lines over the lake. In addition, at ACS: SUP and kayak rental!

Do you have (little) bikers in the family? In Wagrain, there is a new 5,900 sqm large Kids Bike Area with many different trails, obstacles, and drops – and spectator benches for the parents.

Family Run at Shuttleberg Kleinarl

The Shuttleberg transforms in summer into a family paradise with slides, low-ropes course, and for the little bikers, pump tracks, tours, and ramps.

Gnadenalm Obertauern and Wildpark Untertauern

A soothing mountain experience for both young and old is the free adventure trail "Alles Alm". On your way from the Lower to the Upper Gnadenalm, you will discover ten experience and play stations. And on the way back, visit the Untertauern leisure and wildlife park with a petting zoo - also free of charge! Your children will fall in love with the alpacas, ponies, rabbits, goats, miniature donkeys, sheep, and much more.

Wagrainis Grafenberg

At 1,700 m you can spend the whole day, and your children still want more: for example, balancing on the suspension bridge, climbing in the low climbing garden, soaring on the giant swing, bouldering, and of course having a water fight in the water play park. Endless experiences!

Ghost Mountain Alpendorf/St. Johann

At Geisterberg, Gspensti & Spuki are on the move. Hopefully, your children can help find all the ghosts and crack the ghost medallion! There are over 40 play stations, three huts for cozy refreshment, a ghost village with a sliding booth, a climbing ghost castle, a float that allows you to pull yourself over a lake, or the ghost tower for maximum visibility.

Liechtensteinklamm

Half an hour from here, just behind St. Johann and the Alpendorf, you explore one of the deepest and longest gorges in the Alps. Here you refresh yourself on a warm summer day and listen to the rush of the waterfall. You will surely take the best memories on the "floating" spiral staircase Helix, which takes you even deeper.

Ice Giants World

Today you really go 'into' the mountains, as you visit an ice cave, of which there are only very few in the world. The ice is up to 3,000 years old, and the cave is 40 km long, making it the longest of its kind. You will see spectacular ice formations and steep walls and get goosebumps. Literally! Please make sure to dress warmly and wear sturdy hiking shoes. It takes about 35 minutes by car from us to the Eisriesenwelt.

Castle Hohenwerfen

Knights and armor make every child's heart race! Hohenwerfen Castle is over 900 years old and caters to young visitors. There are birds of prey flight demonstrations, children's knight tournaments, of course castle tours, and a riddle rally that you can do on your own. Travel time from our location: about half an hour.

Dachstein Glacier

If you want to reach great heights, then head to Dachstein! It is protected by UNESCO and stands at 2,995 m tall. With the Dachstein Südwandbahn, you can reach the top in just six (!) minutes. Once at the top, the glacier world opens up to you. Do you dare to enter the Himmelsleiter, the suspension bridge, the Sky Walk, and the stairs to nowhere? Important: Due to high demand, you must definitely book the gondola ride with a fixed seat in advance. Car ride from Resl to the parking lot: about 40 min.

Salt Worlds Hallein-Bad Dürrnberg

For over 2,600 years, salt has been mined underground in Hallein near Salzburg, and you can embark on a quest for traces – dressed in the white suit of miners! You will ride on a mine train, take a real miner's slide, and cross a salt lake on a raft. An exciting adventure! Drive from Flachau: about 40 minutes.

Combine your trip to the salt worlds with a visit to the city of Mozart! Here you will find plenty of culture, inspiring architecture, and of course boutiques and upscale stores. It takes about 50 minutes by car from us to Salzburg.
